Apparently Shilo wasn’t paying attention when that vet said her “c” spread (shh…. we aren’t going to remind her either). She had a wonderful day…
We started by going to the creek, granted I haven’t taken her near water since her amputation. So I didn’t think that she would be much interested getting in, let alone getting in when it was 48 degrees today. Geuss I was wrong!! 🙂

Then we went to the doggie park, man did she have a blast. One of these days I will get over to my dad’s and get the video’s uploaded. For now I just have pic’s.

Above – What a day… On the way home just looking out the back window of mom’s car! Then when we got home, Mom made me some yummy roast and I ate almost all of it..

Great moments indeed pretty girl! What a wonderful day you had…swimming, running, stick chewing, it doesnt get any better than that. Keep it up girlfriend, what a lucky girldawg you are to have such a great family that loves you so much! Mmmmm, bellyrubs…….

We haven’t told Caira Sue that her cancer spread either. I feel like there’s no need. She’s happy every day. Sometimes I see her pacing herself, but maybe it’s just the work of running on 3 legs. You don’t tell Shilo and I won’t tell Caira. I think that’s a good way to be. And don’t worry, I won’t tell Shilo either!
The pictures of your day in the park are beautiful! Mostly because of the beautiful dog! Where do you live? I’ve lived in several areas in the US. There must be someplace cool for Shilo to hang out while you eat and get a good ear scratching!

Way to go Shilo! I would love to go swimming with you. What a pretty creek. All my swimming holes are iced over, so no swimming for me until breakup in May.

Now that is a good day! So happy to see Shilo feeling better. Amazing how things turned around!
p.s. Your creek would be considered a full-fledged lake by our standards. It is beautiful.

What a wonderful day for beautiful Shilo!!! I’ll bet she slept like a baby once she got home.
It’s funny how dogs don’t care how cold the water is… just us whimpy pawrents do! 🙂 I can’t wait to see the videos once you upload them.

Awesome day! No one would ever know you were a tripawd! Glad you got to get to go swimming!!! We never forget wonderful things like swimming! Hope you get to enjoy more days like that one!
